Description

We are currently seeking an Associate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients by producing high-quality imaging to aid in medical decision-making. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from conducting diagnostic tests to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.

As an Associate MD or DO in Radiology  your work will be essential in helping patients receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical imaging technologies and contribute to improving patient outcomes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Collaborating with other physicians and healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality.
  • Staying current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and other support staff.
  • Adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols in the field of radiology.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting imaging results.
  • Shift Information: Rotation of 2 weeks 8a-5p, 1 week 2p-11p

Schedule: 7 on/7 off or M-F, same shift rotation

Weekend call, 1:4

Setting: 100% remote

Volume: 75 RVUs per shift

50% X-ray, 40% CT (MSK, Body, or Neuro), and 10% MRI

Board certification required
