If you are a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist who wants to help patients and their families, we want you to apply for this job. As the Medical Director, you will lead the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line and work closely with the Administrative and Clinical Director for Women’s and Children’s Services.  This is a great chance to improve our Maternal Fetal program in a caring organization that aims to help the communities we serve.

Your main duties will include:

- **Clinical Leadership**: You will be in charge of ensuring high-quality care for patients with complex maternal fetal cases.

- **Patient Care**: You will provide complete and patient-focused care for people with high-risk pregnancies. This includes diagnosis, consultation, and management services. You will work with obstetricians (doctors who specialize in pregnancy and childbirth), neonatologists (doctors who specialize in newborns), and other specialists to make sure patients get coordinated care.

- **Program Development**: You will work with other leaders to improve our Maternal Fetal Medicine program. You will be responsible for certain offices and programs in West Michigan, focusing on quality care, service excellence, colleague engagement, financial goals, and taking care of resources.

- **Education and Mentorship**: You will help guide and mentor medical students and residents.

**Requirements:**

- You need to have at least 5 years of experience working in Maternal Fetal Medicine (not including training).
- It is also preferred that you have 2 or more years of experience in a leadership role or have completed training that prepares you for this position.

**Qualifications:**

- You must be board certified in OB/GYN (this is required).
- You must also be board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (this is required).
- You should have a Michigan medical license (or be willing to obtain one; this is required).
- You need to have a DEA license (or be willing to obtain one; this is required).
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required (or you should be willing to obtain them).
- It is preferred to have a clean record with no malpractice issues.
