The Program Director holds a dual responsibility encompassing both clinical and supervisory functions.
Candidates must possess Board Certification in Family Medicine, awarded by either the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians—this requirement is essential. A valid New York State medical license is also mandatory, or the willingness to obtain one is required. Additionally, possession of a DEA registration or the ability to acquire it is necessary.
