**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct testing and receipt of milk.
- Manage the receipt of condensed products.
- Coordinate the loading of cream.
- Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures for milk tankers.
- Execute CIP procedures for line circuits.
- Test CIP solutions for efficacy.
- Oversee the changeover of silos and tanks.
- Safely fill or change chemical barrels within the CIP area.
- Take inventory of cream, condensed products, and milk, and communicate high and low level information to the supervisor.
- Maintain the work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Complete all necessary documentation and charts as required.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees, adhering to all state and federal regulations concerning health and safety.
- Dedicate efforts to safety, ensuring that every employee departs work in the same condition in which they arrived.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and operate in a manner consistent with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Uphold the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and GMP policies and procedures, while reporting any instances of nonconformity. - Attend all required training sessions, which include but are not limited to safety procedures, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
- Monitor and take corrective actions as necessary for critical control points in accordance with the plant’s HACCP plan.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.

**Education and Experience**
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates must possess basic mathematical skills, including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Candidates must be able to obtain a California Weighers and Samplers license.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Flexibility to work any shift is essential, as schedules are subject to change.
- Ability to learn and implement 5S standards in the work area is necessary.
- Timely completion of master sanitation work orders is expected.
- Proficiency in learning SAP and accurately inputting information into the system is required.
- Accurate documentation of dates and levels is mandatory.
- Active participation in the safety observation program is expected.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
