### Job Specific Details and Tasks for Healthcare Worker (HCW)

The HCW is responsible for a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:

- **Diagnostic Radiological Procedures:** Execute routine diagnostic imaging procedures as per the Technical Operations (TO) requirements.

- **Radiation Safety Compliance:** Strictly adhere to all radiation safety protocols in line with the Radiology Department's established policies.

- **Image Processing for Interpretation:** Forward appropriate image series to the radiologist for assessment, following the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) protocols.

- **Patient Positioning and Preparation:** Accurately position patients for examinations and perform necessary technical adjustments for optimal imaging. Assess and implement any special patient preparation procedures as required.

- **Digital Image Management:** Process digital imaging outputs and submit them for radiologist interpretation.

- **Documentation and Record Keeping:** Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures and manage records in compliance with MTF policies.

- **Quality Control and Equipment Calibration:** Conduct system calibrations and perform quality control tasks per manufacturer and MTF standards. Identify artifacts and equipment discrepancies, and promptly notify designated Government personnel of any anomalies.

- **Equipment Malfunction Reporting:** Initiate repair protocols for any equipment malfunctions by contacting the appropriate Government personnel. Document all issues in the trouble call log for the Biomedical Repair Section.

- **Adverse Reaction Monitoring:** Observe and report to the radiologist any symptoms pertinent to the patient’s condition related to adverse reactions from contrast media. Notify the radiologist immediately of any conditions that require their attention. Be prepared to implement emergency measures for patients experiencing cardiac or respiratory distress.

 Work Schedule: - **Shift Hours:** Sunday - Saturday with available shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM). Total work hours must not exceed 80 in a two-week period. 

- **On-call Duty:** There will be no on-call responsibilities.

 Minimum Qualifications:

- **Education:** Must possess a certificate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).  

- **Experience:** A minimum of one year’s experience as a radiologic technologist or in the specified specialty area is required.

- **Certification:** Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography.

- **Life Support Certification:** A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) is necessary.

- **Security Clearance:** Candidates must be eligible to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
