The MRI Technologist employs magnetic resonance imaging scanners to obtain specific images as directed by a physician to facilitate patient diagnosis. This role requires adherence to physicians' instructions, proficiency in the preparation and operation of MRI equipment, accurate positioning of patients, and the effective recording of the requested diagnostic images.
**Education:**
Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required.
**Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
A minimum of two years of experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
**Licensure and Certification:**
- ARRT certification in MRI is required.
- BLS Certification is required.
