The candidate must demonstrate clinical competence through the effective utilization of the nursing process.
This includes the assessment and identification of patient problems and needs, the establishment of a comprehensive plan of care, the implementation of appropriate interventions, and the evaluation and revision of the patient care plan in accordance with observed patient progress.
Experience with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Meditech is required.
Qualifications include desired proficiency with equipment such as X-Ray systems, specifically Digital Diagnost and Philips C-Arm, as well as proficiency with the Philips Ingenuity CT system.
Preference will be given to candidates with travel experience.
This position primarily focuses on Computed Tomography (CT) with occasional support for X-Ray services.
Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting is encouraged.
The candidate must possess an active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
Certification requirements include Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) and a New Hampshire License in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
Additionally, candidates who hold an active out-of-state radiology license may apply for a temporary New Hampshire MIRT license.
