**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead client engagements with a focus on adherence to timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet the firm’s stringent quality benchmarks, thus enhancing client satisfaction.

- Manage project files, encompassing the establishment of budgets, strategic planning of project activities, ongoing progress monitoring by team members, and thorough review of projects for accuracy and completeness.

- Address complex accounting and tax queries with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Guide and mentor your team, exemplifying best practices and directing staff on engagement priorities.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client relationships.

- Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and corresponding tax returns for a select client portfolio.

- Prepare and submit documents to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

- Assist in the marketing initiatives of the organization towards existing and prospective clients as required.

**Experience, Qualifications, and Professional Attributes:**

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- CPA designation.

- Minimum of 5 years in public accounting, engaging in reviews and compilations across diverse client sectors, with audit experience considered an asset.

- At least 1 year of experience in a team management capacity.

- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO), as well as generally accepted auditing standards and procedures.

- Proficient in researching and analyzing complex financial statement and audit-related matters.

- Capacity to communicate nuanced accounting insights clearly and concisely, fostering client comprehension of intricate fiscal issues.

- Familiarity with the operational challenges faced by small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

- Self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing a commitment to fostering an open and transparent dialogue with both colleagues and clients.

- Strong relationship-building capabilities, ensuring that clients and team members find collaboration enjoyable and productive.
