We are currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Family Medicine . As an NP in Family Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing primary care services to patients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of common acute and chronic illnesses. This position is vital to our client's healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient care and positive health outcomes. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at improving patient well-being and promoting a healthy community.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Medicine
• Current NP certification and state licensure
• Prior experience in Family Medicine or primary care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p

Call Requirement: 1 month at a time by phone, 2 months per year

Daily Volume: 14 per day

Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreter available

EMR: eClinicalWorks

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
