We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Hematology Oncology. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
  • Assist in conducting research and implementing evidence-based practice in Hematology Oncology.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Hematology Oncology.
  • Strong knowledge of Hematology and Oncology principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest advancements in Hematology Oncology.

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday

Rotating call shifts are required

Setting: Outpatient

Patients Per Shift: 15-20

Responsibilities: Comprehensive care to patients with a cancer diagnosis or hematologic disorders

Preferred Experience: 1+ years

Must be board-certified
