We are currently seeking a dedicated NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Family Medicine . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in need. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform physical examinations and interpret medical history.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and provide treatment according to protocols.
  • Educate patients on preventive care and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.

Requirements:

  • Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.
  • Strong knowledge of family medicine principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p

Call Requirement: Beeper call 2 months per year

Patient Volume: 14 per day

Setting: 3 school-based clinics

EMR: ECW

Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreters available

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
