We are currently seeking a dedicated NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Family Medicine/Primary Care. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients, focusing on preventive care, health education, and disease management. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

As an NP or PA in Family Medicine/Primary Care, you will be instrumental in promoting wellness and managing acute and chronic illnesses within the community. Your role will involve conducting physical exams, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and offering compassionate care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and updated medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in Family Medicine/Primary Care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Willingness to stay current with advances in healthcare practices

About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 3.5 days per week
  • Beeper Call Requirement: 4 weekends per year, 3 nights per month
  • Patient Population: All ages
  • 30 minutes per follow-up, 45 minutes per new patient
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Must be board-certified
