We are currently seeking a dedicated NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Pulmonology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pulmonary conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies for respiratory illnesses.
  • Educate patients and their families on pulmonary disease management and prevention.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives related to Pulmonology.

Requirements:

  • Valid NP or PA license in Pulmonology.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.
  • Strong knowledge of pulmonary diseases, treatments, and guidelines.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Compassionate attitude and patient-centered approach to care.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8a-5p), Friday (8a-12p)

No call or weekend shifts

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Volume: 20-30 patients

Support Staff: MD

Preferred Experience: 1+ years of outpatient pulmonology

Board certification required
