**Job Description** 
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in a Level III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), your job will include:

- Helping take care of newborns in partnership with doctors and other healthcare team members.
- Being part of important deliveries and doing special medical procedures for newborns.
- Helping make decisions about patient care, managing treatment, teaching families, and planning care.
- Joining efforts to improve care quality and using research to guide practice.
- Working in a supportive environment where you are part of the care team and hold important roles.
- Supporting various pediatric specialties, including surgery, heart care, and brain care.
- Taking part in special training programs for new graduates.
- Continuing your education to ensure high-quality care for newborns.

**Requirements** 
- You must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- You need to be Board Certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). Other certifications (such as FNP or PNP) are not accepted.
- You must have a nursing license or be willing to get one.
- Having 2 or more years of experience as an NNP is highly preferred but new graduates are also welcome.

**Additional Information** 
- You must obtain your DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license and CSR/CDS (Controlled Substance Registry) license before starting.
- You must be certified as a Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- You need a current nursing license in Michigan.
- You should have your APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) national specialty certification.

New graduates are encouraged to apply, and mentorship will be provided.
