**Job Duties for Nurse Practitioner (NP):

**

As a Nurse Practitioner, your main job will include the following tasks:

**Main Tasks:**

- Provide various healthcare services based on the permissions granted by the medical facility. This includes checking and treating patients for regular and urgent health issues. You will also give vaccinations, make diagnoses, and offer advice to patients.

- Teach and guide other staff and provide training sessions to help them learn.

- Diagnose and treat patients with common health problems, chronic conditions, or minor injuries while following accepted rules and working with a doctor.

- Encourage preventive care and healthy habits, which includes regular check-ups and educating patients on self-care.

- Communicate and work with various people to keep the healthcare team informed and to educate patients and their families.

- Identify situations where patients need isolation and ensure safety precautions are followed in every patient interaction.

- Attend team meetings to talk about cases, receive training, and work on improving quality and safety in care.

**Work Schedule:** - Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day, between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM.

- No work on weekends or holidays.

- No on-call responsibilities.

**Minimum Requirements:** - 

**Education:** A Master's degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioners from an approved program. -

 **Experience:** At least 2 years of work experience in a primary care setting within the last 3 years. - **License:** A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. - 

**Certification:** Certification from ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioners or other recognized organizations for the specialty area, if applicable. - 

**Life Support Training:** 

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross is required. -

 **Security Clearance:**

 Must be able to pass a government background check and obtain a security clearance.
