**Occupational Therapist Position Overview**
The role entails delivering specialized occupational therapy interventions to pediatric patients, primarily aged 0-3 years, within the Infant Child Development (ICD) program.
This program focuses on children exhibiting delays or deficits across critical areas including activities of daily living (ADLs) (particularly play), neuromuscular functioning, sensory integration, cognitive development, and psychosocial skills.
Responsibilities include the planning, organization, and execution of comprehensive occupational therapy services, which encompass thorough assessments, the formulation of individualized treatment strategies, service delivery and documentation, as well as educational support and consultation for patients and their families.
Additionally, the role involves discharge and transition planning to facilitate optimal outcomes.
**Position Qualifications**
**Minimum Education:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy [REQUIRED]
**Minimum Experience:** - Preferred: One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy
**Required Registration/License/Certification:**
- Kansas Occupational Therapy License [REQUIRED]
- Valid Kansas Driver’s License [DOCUMENTED]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Healthcare Provider or the American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers, to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
