The Physical Therapist helps patients by checking their physical health and needs.
They create and carry out a treatment plan to help patients get better based on physical therapy methods.
This also means they need to keep track of how well the patient is doing and make changes to the plan when needed. They work with other health care professionals and keep accurate medical and business records.
The Physical Therapist is also in charge of overseeing the work of P.T. assistants and at least one student each year.
They must take part in improving the department's services, community activities, and program development.
