**Job Responsibilities:**
Your duties may include the following tasks:
- Provide physical therapy services according to the permission given by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). - Create written treatment plans based on the patient's evaluation.
- Perform exercises to help improve and maintain the patient's physical abilities.
- Teach and assist patients in doing exercises and daily activities, including how to use devices like crutches, canes, and prosthetic limbs.
- Use soft tissue techniques to help relieve pain and improve mobility.
- Apply traction equipment to help reduce pain.
- Keep records of treatments, patient responses, and progress in charts or computerized systems.
- Work with doctors and other staff members to gather more information about patients, suggest changes to treatment plans, and ensure physical therapy fits with the overall health care of the patient. Contact doctors if there are any concerns about patient care.
- Conduct activities focused on prevention, wellness, and health education, and encourage healthy habits.
**Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with shifts of 8, 9, or 10 hours based on department needs. - No work on holidays or weekends!
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Degree:** You need a Master’s degree in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s degree if you graduated before January 1, 2002. -
**Education:** You must have graduated from a college approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). -
**Experience:** You should have at least 2 years of work experience within the last 5 years as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic or sports therapy setting. -
**Licensure:** You need a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist. - **Security:** You must be able to pass a government background check. -
**Life Support Certification:
** You should have a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
