The Physician Assistant will deliver direct urologic care in a predominantly outpatient environment, collaborating closely with urologists and clinical staff. 

The responsibilities associated with this position include:

- Evaluating and managing both new and established urology patients.

- Providing outpatient clinical care to a patient load ranging from 15 to 20 individuals per day.

- Conducting pre-operative and post-operative assessments, as well as follow-up consultations.

- Assisting in patient education related to procedures, medications, and treatment plans.

- Supporting physicians with clinic workflow and the preparation for procedures.

Occasionally conducting inpatient hospital rounding for additional compensation (with no on-call duties required).

- Documenting patient encounters utilizing the Cerner / Oracle Health Electronic Medical Record system.

- Employing AI-assisted clinical documentation tools for enhanced efficiency.

- Engaging in continuous professional development within a dynamic urology environment.

- Adhering to established quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Candidates must hold Board Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and possess an Ohio state license (or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one).

 Relevant experience in urology, hospitalist care, or gynecology is required; applicants should specify the duration of their experience. 

A DEA license must be obtained prior to commencement of employment.

Additional requirements include a clean malpractice and license record, as well as submission of the most recent National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) Self Query Report (current within 30 days).

Certification Requirements: - NCCPA certification is required.

State License Requirements: - A license to practice in Ohio is mandatory.

Additional License Requirements: - Experience in urology or gynecology and possession of a DEA license are necessary.
