**Job Description for Non-Invasive Cardiologist**

The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will work in outpatient clinics in Robbinsdale, Maple Grove, and other locations. This job includes seeing both new and returning patients. The provider should be willing to travel to all these places.

The cardiologist will also help with patient care in the hospital. They will be part of a call schedule, which means they will be available for emergencies every seven days. On weeknights, the cardiologist will be on call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and on weekends, they will be on call for 24 hours.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reading tests like rest and stress echocardiograms and nuclear studies.
- Performing procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and cardioversions.
- Providing care to patients in both the clinic and the hospital.
- Discussing treatment options with patients and their families and ordering tests to check for heart problems.
- Working with a healthcare team to give the best care and support to cardiology patients.
- Completing general cardiology tasks, such as helping with emergencies, inpatient rounding, and reading heart images.

**Location Details:**
- The job is at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- The average number of patients seen in the clinic each day is 12-14, along with 5-10 consultations daily.
- There are 17 cardiologists in the group.

**Qualifications Needed:**
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (within 5 years of eligibility) - REQUIRED
- Must have a Minnesota License (or be willing to get one) - REQUIRED
- Need DEA verbal confirmation by the time you start - REQUIRED
- CT training is preferred - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- ACLS certification must be completed before starting - REQUIRED
