**Job Description:**
- Main work will be with outpatients (people who do not stay overnight).
- On-call duty is 1 time in 10 days, with extra inpatient coverage only when the main doctors are not available.
- Flexible scheduling is available.
Our team includes Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Certified Diabetes Educators. We help people with diabetes live better lives by teaching them how to manage and control their condition.
We provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care for people with diabetes and other hormone-related problems. We use the latest technology for diabetes care, like insulin pump monitoring and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
Our special services include:
- Screening for diabetes complications
- Prevention and treatment of issues
- Managing medications
- Foot care
- Helping people quit smoking
- Onsite HbA1c testing
- Weight management
- Nutritional counseling
- Support groups for diabetes
- Education classes about diabetes, both one-on-one and in groups.
We prefer candidates with experience, but we also encourage recent graduates (in 2025 or later) who are working towards Board Certification to apply.
**Requirements:**
- Must be Board Eligible (within 5 years of meeting requirements) or Board Certified in Endocrinology - THIS IS REQUIRED
- Must have a New York License (or be willing to get one) - THIS IS REQUIRED
- Previous experience as an Endocrinologist is preferred.
