**Job Description:**
- Provide primary health care for patients of all ages (children, teenagers, adults, and older adults).
- Manage long-term illnesses, injuries, and urgent health issues.
- Conduct regular check-ups, cancer tests, vaccinations, and advice on healthy living.
- Work closely with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Participate in a light call system with a nurse for triage.
- Receive support from hospital systems and leadership from doctors.
- Option to teach first-year medical students and guide Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant students.
- Opportunity to be involved in hospital work and leadership roles.
- Flexible work schedule is available; preference for candidates looking for full-time outpatient work with shared on-call duties.
- Preference for candidates who want to stay long-term with the practice.
- Must be ready to start once credentialing is completed.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine, or have Board Certification in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
- If you are Board Eligible, you must meet the following:
- Have an active New York medical license (or willing to get one) - THIS IS REQUIRED.
- At least 1 year of experience in primary care is needed (please mention this in the "Additional Submission Details" section) - THIS IS REQUIRED.
- Must have a clean history in malpractice and licensing - THIS IS REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS.
**Certification Requirements:**
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Board Certified
- Board Eligible
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
**State License Requirements:**
- New York
**Additional License Requirements:**
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, or dual Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
