**Job Description:**
Join a growing cancer care team that has special doctors for breast, lung, and women's cancers.
You will help patients during their treatment for cancer and provide the best medical and surgical care. Your focus will be on making sure patients feel comfortable and managing their symptoms.
You will work with a team that includes advanced practice providers (APPs), nurse and financial helpers, social workers, palliative care staff, and genetics experts.
You will see patients in the clinic and at the hospital, working in the operating room 1 to 2 days each week. You will share on-call duties with other team members in a rotation of 1 doctor for every 3.
You will be part of The Cancer Network of West Michigan, which works together with the University of Michigan Health – West.
You will use advanced technology like daVinci robots, TrueBeam, CyberKnife, and brachytherapy in your work.
You will practice in a system that is accredited by multiple organizations (CoC, NAPBC, ACR, etc.).
**Qualifications:**
- You must have completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology (THIS IS A MUST).
- You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (you need to be Board Certified within 2 years) (THIS IS A MUST).
- You need a Michigan medical license (or be willing to get one) (THIS IS A MUST).
- You need a DEA license (THIS IS A MUST).
- You must be certified in ACLS and BLS (THIS IS A MUST).
