As a Physician in Hematology Oncology, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders and cancer. Your role will encompass developing comprehensive treatment plans, performing procedures, and collaborating with specialists to ensure the highest quality of care. 

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care processes
• Participate in clinical research and trials when applicable
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Stay updated on advancements in hematology and oncology treatments

Requirements

- MD or DO, Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology  

- Capability to secure and maintain an unrestricted medical license for both Iowa and Illinois  

- Possess current and unrestricted federal and state credentials to prescribe and administer medications relevant to the specialty  

- Ensure a clean malpractice history/background; please provide a Self-Query from the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), dated within the last month, at the time of presentation
