**Clinical Expectations:** -
**Contact Hours:** 36 patient-facing hours weekly.
- **Patient Volume:** Manage a caseload of 12-15 patients per day.
- **Setting:** Primarily outpatient with the capability to admit patients to the Hospitalist service.
- **Inpatient Care:** Responsibilities include rounding as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- **Call Coverage:** Equitable participation in second call for physicians.
- **Educational Role:** Opportunities for teaching residents and medical students.
- **Research Involvement:** Engagement in ongoing clinical trials.
- **Mentorship:** Access to established mentorship programs for professional development.
**Patient Population:** - **Case Mix:** Experience with a diverse range of solid organ tumors, breast cancer, gynecological malignancies, and hematological conditions.
**Qualifications Required:**
- **Education:** MD or DO with board eligibility/certification in Hematology/Oncology.
- **Licensure:** Must possess current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications specific to the practice area.
- **DEA Registration:** Valid DEA registration required.
- **Credentialing:** Must have a clean malpractice and background history; a Self-Query from the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) to be submitted, obtained within the last month at the time of presentation.
