We are actively seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join an established Hospitalist team in a Nocturnist role. 

This position focuses on delivering high-quality, mission-driven inpatient care within a supportive, physician-led framework, benefitting from robust specialty backup. 

**Position Overview:**

The Nocturnist Physician will be responsible for:

- Providing comprehensive overnight inpatient care. - Following a 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

- Managing admissions and overseeing hospitalized patients during overnight hours.

- Conducting thorough history and physical examinations.

- Documenting patient interactions and care within the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.

- Performing closed ICU rounds for hospitalist patients overnight.

- Monitoring and promptly responding to changes in patient conditions.

- Collaborating effectively with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams.

- Coordinating follow-up care post-discharge to ensure continuity of care.

- Delivering patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care.

- Contributing to a collegial and respected Hospitalist team environment.

- Engaging within a physician-led governance structure that promotes shared decision-making.

- Exercising strong clinical judgment and communication skills in acute care scenarios.

**Experience Requirements:**

- Candidates must have prior experience in a similar role; fresh graduates will not be considered.

**Essential Qualifications:**

- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within two years of eligibility) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

- Possession of a valid New York Medical License or a willingness to obtain one 

- A clean malpractice and license history 

- Submission of a recent NPDB Self Query Report (dated within the last 30 days).

**Additional Qualifications:**

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

- Active DEA registration.

- Compliance with state licensing requirements in New York.
