**Job Description:**
- This job is full-time, which means you will work 7.5 shifts that are each 24 hours long each month.
- We can also consider someone who wants to work at least 5.5 shifts each month (you will still get benefits).
- We are looking for someone who has a Texas medical license and can start working soon.
- You will manage a delivery caseload with a C-section rate of 40%.
- You will oversee unscheduled outpatient visits for expectant mothers each year.
- You will conduct consultations for OBED each year.
- You will work together with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
- You will speak with specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
- Your tasks will include OB triage, hospital admissions, attending deliveries, and caring for patients in the hospital.
- You will care for patients who don’t have a doctor assigned to them and help with private call coverage.
- You will cover the maternity floor and respond to emergency cases related to gynecology.
- You will help during surgeries like Cesarean sections.
- You will respond to emergencies in the delivery unit.
**Qualifications:**
- You must be Board Eligible (within 5 years after residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN – THIS IS REQUIRED.
- You need an active Texas medical license (or you should be in the process of getting it) – THIS IS REQUIRED.
- A clean record with no malpractice and license issues is highly preferred.
