**Job Description:**
- Help care for pregnant women and women's health patients in a busy hospital.
- Work together with a community health partner and midwives.
- Assist with about 80 births each month in a supportive setting.
- Be available for patients 24 hours a day in the hospital, including labor and delivery, OB/GYN triage, and emergency calls when needed.
- Serve as a referral resource for gynecological patients in the region.
- Check on patients every day after surgeries and after giving birth.
- Be part of a teamwork approach to improve patient safety and health in the community.
- Work with a team that includes anesthesia professionals, NICU staff, and midwives.
- No additional doctor on-call duties; this is a full-time hospital position.
**Candidates Must Be:**
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - THIS IS REQUIRED
- Have an Iowa medical license (or be willing to get one) - THIS IS REQUIRED
- Have a good malpractice history - PREFERRED
**Certification Requirements:**
- Must be Board Certified
**State License Requirements:**
- Must have a license for Iowa
