**Position Details:**
As a Hospitalist, you will:
- Deliver inpatient care following a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM). - Conduct daily rounds on a caseload of approximately 12–15 patients per physician.
- Manage patient admissions and respond to rapid response situations/codes.
- Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU framework, with 24/7 consult availability.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, while documenting findings in Paragon EMR.
- Coordinate care with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Engage in a collaborative Hospitalist team managing a collective patient census of 40–50 daily.
- Note: No on-call responsibilities required. - Practice in a non-trauma facility with a solid healthcare infrastructure.
**Qualifications:** - Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; new graduates are encouraged to apply but must complete residency beforehand.
- Must achieve Board Certification within a two-year timeframe from the contract start date.
- A valid New York medical license is required or a commitment to obtaining one. - Candidates must possess a clean malpractice and licensure history.
- Certifications in DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
- Visa support is required for the provider.
- Willingness to work full-time with a 7 on / 7 off schedule is essential. - Comfort in an open ICU environment with intensivist collaboration is required.
**Certification Requirements:** - ACLS - BLS
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - DEA - PALS
**State License Requirements:**
- New York medical license required.
