**Job Opening: Neonatologist**
**Job Details:**
- We are looking for a full-time Neonatologist who is either Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE).
- You will work a mix of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts on a rotating schedule every 7 weeks.
- On average, you will work about 170 hours each month in the hospital. - You will be on call at the hospital and also take calls from home.
- Our hospital has a Level-III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
- We have around 6,000 births at our hospital each year.
- The intensive care units have about 1,000 admissions each year and usually care for 54 babies daily.
- We provide all services except for ECMO (a heart-lung machine) and heart surgery.
- You will work with residents and nurse practitioners.
**Who Can Apply:**
- You must be Board Certified in Pediatrics (this is required).
- You can be Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine if you are within 5 years of completing your fellowship and working toward Board Certification (this is also required).
- You need to have or be willing to get a Kansas medical license (required).
- You need to have completed a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine before starting (required).
- A clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
**Other Requirements:**
- You will need to obtain a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license before starting.
