**Job Description:**
- Provide all types of care for newborns in a special unit called the Level-III NICU.
- Manage advanced treatments for newborns, including High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, and a special brain monitor called amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG).
- Work with other specialist teams like Cardiology (heart), Neurology (nervous system), Ophthalmology (eyes), Hematology (blood), and Endocrinology (hormones).
- Be part of a team with 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).
- Help with patient care that may involve being on call and working on weekends as needed.

- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be truly Board Eligible (within 5 years after fellowship working to become Board Certified) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- THIS IS REQUIRED. - Must have a Kansas license (or be willing to get one)
- THIS IS REQUIRED. - A clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
- THIS IS REQUIRED. - Must have a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration before starting
- THIS IS REQUIRED (no exceptions).
**Certification Requirements:**
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
**State License Requirements:**
- Must have a license to practice in Kansas.
**Additional License Requirements:**
- Must be BC/BE (Board Certified or Board Eligible) in Neonatology, with certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
