**Job Details:** - 

**Workplace:** Hospital, on call - 

**Reason for Need:** Short staff

**Facilities Available:**

- Labs and Ultrasound available on-site

- Hospital equipment for labor and delivery

- Few C-sections (surgery to deliver a baby)

**Nursery Level:** II  

**Documentation System:

** Epic  

**Midwives:** They take call and deliver their own patients  

**Required Tasks:**

- Normal delivery (vaginal), and using low forceps if needed

- Deciding when to do a C-section

- Complicated deliveries, like C-sections, breech births, multiple births, abruptions, etc.

- VBAC ( vaginal birth after a C-section)

- Repairing severe tears (3rd and 4th degree lacerations)

**Qualifications Needed:**

- Must be Board Certified

 – REQUIRED - Must have an active Kentucky License 

– REQUIRED (Can have exceptions for active IMLC)

- Must be BLS Certified

 – REQUIRED - Must have an active DEA

 – REQUIRED

**Certification Requirements:** - BLS - Board Certification

- State License: Kentucky
