**Schedule and Availability Requirements:**

**Facility Location:** Grass Valley
**Setting:** Hospital setting featuring a dedicated Family Birthing Center
**Duties:** The position encompasses responsibilities for deliveries (averaging between 23 and 30 deliveries per month), cesarean sections, and emergency department call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology-related issues.
**Required Procedures:**
All obstetrics and gynecology procedures. Specific procedures will be determined.

**Requirements:** - Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification in obstetrics and gynecology by either the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, or
- Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology; and
- Demonstration of performance of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures within the past two years or successful completion of a hospital-affiliated formal residency or clinical fellowship.
**Special Procedures:** Successful completion of an approved, recognized course when such exists, or acceptable supervised training in residency, fellowship, or other recognized programs, accompanied by documentation of competence to obtain and retain clinical privileges as outlined in departmental policies governing the exercise of specific privileges.
**Proctoring Requirements:** Proctoring is necessary for all appointees acquiring interval or new privileges in accordance with the specific proctoring standards of the relevant departments.
**Qualifications:**
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible within the past five years

– Required - DEA Registration
– Required during the credentialing process
- Clean Malpractice History – Preferred
