**Job Description:
**
We are looking for a doctor who is either Board Certified or truly Board Eligible, meaning you can get certified within 3 years. It is preferred if you have extra training in Otology (ear conditions) or Laryngology (throat conditions).
**Work Settings:** - You will work mostly in clinics, but also in hospitals and other settings. -
The job is open because someone is retiring.
**Work Schedule:** - You will work 4 days a week: 3 days in the clinic and 1 day in the operating room (OR).
- On-call duties (being available for patient questions) are shared between two doctors and can be done from home. You will usually take calls for your own patients. If a doctor is away, you might have to cover for them. You won’t have to take emergency room calls unless you choose to. You can expect about one call every few days. - You will also work weekends on a 1:2 schedule, with low volume of calls.
**Patient Care:** - You will see 20-25 patients each day: 40 minutes for new patients and 20 minutes for follow-ups. - You will work in a Level 3 Trauma facility.
- Our team works hard to provide excellent care and service to our patients. - You will be part of a large health system that helps you build your practice quickly with many referrals.
**Documentation:** - We use an electronic medical record system called EPIC.
- A quick start is preferred, and we welcome new doctors who will graduate by 2025 and are expected to be Board Certified within 3 years.
**Requirements:**
- You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) - this is necessary.
- You need a Colorado medical license (or be willing to get one) - this is necessary.
- You must have a clean malpractice record - this is necessary.
- Additional training in Otology or Laryngology is preferred.
**Additional Information:** - You must obtain a DEA before starting work.
