**Job Overview:**

**Facility:** Level III Trauma Center
- **Role:** 100% inpatient, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM -
**Call Schedule:** Shared evening and weekend call, 1:8 -
**Support:** Postoperative clinic support and dedicated APP assistance -
**Operating Room:** Allocated trauma OR block time -
**Collaboration:** Excellent system infrastructure fostering multispecialty teamwork
**Required Skills and Procedures:**
- **Qualifications:** Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Surgery
- **Case Management:** Proficient in managing complex surgical cases within a dynamic, collaborative environment -
**Support Systems:** Access to multidisciplinary teams and resources enhancing surgical practice -
**Autonomy:** Ability to practice with significant independence, backed by comprehensive institutional support
- **Commitment:** Focused on delivering superior patient outcomes through evidence-based, team-oriented care
**Qualifications:**
- Board certification in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery or truly board-eligible
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty
- Active medical licenses in both Iowa and Illinois
- Demonstrated clinical and surgical expertise with a commitment to holistic care of hand and upper extremity issues
- Open to candidates ranging from graduating fellows to seasoned orthopedic surgeons
