We are actively seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to establish and lead a high-quality, community-oriented vascular surgery program in Northwest Ohio.

**Position Overview:** - Lead the development of a community-based vascular surgery program.
- Deliver advanced vascular surgical care encompassing:
- Abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disorders
- Carotid artery diseases
- Hemodialysis access procedures
- Peripheral vascular disease management and limb salvage techniques - Execute both open and endovascular surgical procedures.
- Manage vascular conditions through medical therapy, lifestyle interventions, and non-surgical methodologies.
**Schedule and Responsibilities:** - Maintain a weekly schedule consisting of: - 2 clinic days - 3 procedural/surgical days
- Participate in 10 night/weekend call shifts per month (daytime coverage not included).
- Share call responsibilities with one PRN vascular surgeon, a vascular surgery APP, and receive phone support from a vascular surgeon at OSU.
- Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting, working closely with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties.
**Program Development:** - Contribute to program growth and future expansion initiatives, aiming for the recruitment of an additional vascular surgeon and APP by the end of 2027.
- Participate in the transition to a hybrid operating room, with construction slated for completion by 2027.
- Deliver patient-centered care in a high-quality, community-driven environment.
- Educate and advise patients and families regarding treatment options, wellness, and disease prevention.
- Foster responsive communication with referring physicians.
- Engage in institutional service activities at departmental, college, and medical center levels.
- Function as a preceptor, providing training to medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
- Opportunities for leadership roles in the program will be available depending on experience and interest.
**Academic Affiliations:** - Secure a clinical faculty appointment (Assistant or Associate Professor) with The Ohio State University, centered on a 100% clinical practice based in Findlay, Ohio (non-academic site).

- Stress echocardiography (including Dobutamine Stress Echo)
- Cardiolite Treadmill Stress Test and Lexiscan Cardiolite Stress Test
- Standard Treadmill EKG Stress Assessment - EKG and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardiac catheterization, vascular testing, and cardiac rehabilitation
- Nuclear Medicine and Emergency Cardiac Care
**Qualifications:**
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility with intention to sit for boards) or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (no exceptions).
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to commencement).
- Clean malpractice history and licensure (no exceptions).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days, active).
