**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled Junior Manager for Preventive Maintenance to help keep the machines and equipment reliable and running well. In this job, you will manage risks to our equipment, make our operations more efficient, and lead a team to ensure smooth production.
**Key Responsibilities**
**People and Team Management:**
- Make decisions to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in your assigned areas.
- Help run daily meetings for the maintenance team.
- Create, track, and carry out plans for maintenance and repairs, training team members when needed.
- Lead daily maintenance meetings and hold team members accountable for their work.
- Help hire mechanics by participating in interviews and making job offers.
- Be the main contact for union-related matters and build good relationships with workers.
- Train new team leaders for Preventive Maintenance (PM).
- Co-manage tools and workshop, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed.
**Equipment Reliability:**
- Supervise the lubrication program and make sure it is done correctly.
- Work together with reliability engineers to develop maintenance plans and support execution in the SAP system.
- Manage the budget and look for ways to reduce maintenance costs.
- Work on low-cost projects to better manage maintenance expenses.
- Lead PM efforts in Small Group Activities (SGA) for important line equipment and work with teams to create standards.
- Help move from Progressive Maintenance (PM) to Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
- Develop skill assessment tools and lead training for technicians and operators based on skill gaps.
- Analyze breakdowns to improve equipment performance and reduce repair time.
- Make sure that any safety and quality issues are prioritized, planned, and addressed.
- Provide mentorship to Team Leads when needed.
- Support and ensure that all lines are ready for production when starting up.
**Productivity and Process Improvements:**
- Work with the Core Centric Team to develop and carry out projects based on line performance.
- Collaborate with the stockroom to analyze parts to reduce waste and improve inventory accuracy.
- Research and apply best practices across different production lines.
- Create and maintain standards to ensure machines work consistently.
- Use data to identify and recover from efficiency losses.
**Labor & Scheduling:**
- Create schedules for maintenance work and manage what needs to be done during shutdowns.
- Organize weekend shifts based on plant needs and available resources.
- Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure work is done efficiently.
- Cover for Team Leads during weekdays and weekends as needed.
- Help keep the SAP system organized and assigned work correctly.

- At least 2 years of experience leading a maintenance team or a similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance lead in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in managing projects and leading operations.
- Good computer skills (MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (like SAP) and scheduling systems.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across different teams.
**Education / Certifications:**
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
**Work Schedule:** - Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm, with potential overtime and weekend work.
- You may also need to work different shifts or be on call to help during other shifts.
