**Project Engineer – Job Description**

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in aircraft modification and integration projects across various airline fleets from conception through implementation and delivery.
- Interpret engineering drawings and external work instructions to develop Task Card packages that incorporate Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs).
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Maintenance, Supply Chain, Flight Operations, and Fleet Engineering, as well as external partners such as Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, and vendors to ensure the effective execution of engineering projects.
- Ensure that projects are completed in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, airline policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare meeting materials and lead design reviews to keep stakeholders informed, foster team alignment, and drive the engineering package to completion.
- Support the development and implementation of modifications involving In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems, satellite connectivity, cabin systems, avionics, and structural components.
- Serve as the technical liaison during installations, providing on-site support as necessary to resolve engineering challenges and ensure quality standards are met.
- Track project progress, proactively identify and address issues or delays while keeping stakeholders updated with timely communications.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of project engineering experience in the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Strong working knowledge of STCs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Part 121 and Part 25 FAA regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with aircraft In-Flight Entertainment and connectivity systems, whether satellite or Wi-Fi-based.
- Familiarity with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft platforms, specifically the 737, 787, A330, and A321 models.
- Comprehensive knowledge of STCs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
- Experience with TRAX software.
- Understanding of configuration control, change management processes, and maintenance program development.
