**Job Duties: 

The work might include some of the following tasks:

**

- Help with treating and supporting patients. This includes doing basic tests, talking to patients, checking their mental state, evaluating for substance abuse, and doing psychological and nursing assessments.

- Find out what mental health and nursing issues patients have and teach them about their care.

- Watch, monitor, write down, and share how patients are doing.

- Lead or help with group and one-on-one counseling sessions and other related activities.

- Take safety steps to prevent patients from getting hurt or from thinking about suicide. - Help patients with eating, personal hygiene, and comfort.

- Measure and record vital signs (like heart rate and blood pressure).

- Work with other organizations about patient care and support. Contact military and community groups to gather information.

- Explain mental health services to patients and others.

- Help patients get referred to public, private, or military support services.

- Keep and update records and reports related to specialist services.

- Assist patients who are dealing with stress after traumatic events.

- Maintain treatment records.

**Work Schedule:** The regular hours are Monday to Friday, for 8.5 hours between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch break. There are no weekend, on-call, or holiday shifts!

**Minimum Qualifications for LVN/LPN:** -

 **Education:** You need to have a certificate from a recognized nursing program. - 

**Experience:** You should have one year of practical work as a nurse after finishing school. - 

**License:** You must have a current and active license as a practical or vocational nurse. - 

**Life Support Certification:** You need to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC. - **Security:** You must be able to pass a government background check.

**Minimum Qualifications for Psychiatric Technician:** - 

**Education:** You need a certificate from a recognized Psychiatric Technician Program, or equivalent training and experience that meets the required standards. - 

**Experience:** You should have one year of experience after finishing your education. - 

**Life Support Certification:** You need to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.

- **Security:** You must be able to pass a government background check.
