**Job-Specific Responsibilities and Tasks:**
The following outlines the essential duties, which may include, but are not limited to:

**Core Duties:**
- Facilitate health promotion and educational initiatives, encompassing, but not limited to, tobacco awareness programs, tobacco cessation counseling consistent with the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) tobacco cessation guidelines, as well as nutrition education and weight management initiatives.
- Design and implement population-based programs aimed at high-risk groups and individuals, utilizing both group and individual counseling methodologies for effective education.
- Plan and execute health education programs as outlined in the Task Order (TO).
- Execute limited administrative functions which entail maintaining statistical data related to workload, as well as performing data entry and analysis concerning patient outcomes.
- Curate and maintain educational resources to enhance health promotion and education initiatives.

**Schedule:**
Monday through Friday, 0600-1600 - 8, with shifts lasting either nine or ten hours, based on departmental requirements.
No work is required on holidays or weekends.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Degree/Education:** A Master’s degree is preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Health Promotion, Health Policy, Public Health, Community Health, or a nursing degree complemented by a Master's level preparation in nursing administration or nursing education.
- **Experience:** A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the implementation of health promotion programs is required.
- **Security Clearance:** Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully pass a Government background check/security clearance.
- **Life Support Certification:** Possession of a current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification is mandated.
