Delivers high-quality patient care within the Interventional Radiology (IR) Department.
Demonstrates proficiency in assisting a diverse range of physicians—including Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Neurosurgeons—to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Actively engages in the strategic growth and development of the department, offering insights and proposals for continuous improvement to management.
Oversight includes meticulous planning and coordination to ensure that top-tier care is consistently provided in the IR setting. Collaborates closely with Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, and Diagnostic Imaging RNs to enhance procedural success and patient experiences.
Contributes to the training and professional development of IR Technologists, fostering an environment of learning and skill advancement.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, plays a pivotal role in the operational management of the IR department.
This encompasses patient scheduling, inventory management of IR supplies, compliance with regulatory standards, as well as preparations for Department of Health and Joint Commission inspections. Additionally, ensures adherence to Radiation Safety protocols, monitors dosimetry, and participates in policy formulation.
