**Job Duties:**
The job includes many important tasks, such as:

**Performing X-rays and other imaging tests:** You will do routine imaging tests for patients. -
**Following safety rules:
** It is important to follow all safety procedures related to radiation, as set by the Radiology Department. -
**Managing patient records
:** You will check in patients, log their information in the hospital system, and send images to doctors for review. -
**Helping patients feel comfortable:
** Explain to patients what will happen during their tests to help reduce their anxiety. Make sure they are positioned correctly for the tests and check if they need special preparations. -
**Handling images:** After taking digital images, you will send them to radiologists for reading. -
**Keeping records:
** Document all procedures and manage patient information according to department guidelines. -
**Coordinating schedules:** Help keep track of daily logs and prepare data for monthly reports. -
**Performing important diagnostic tests:** You will conduct various tests on arms, legs, chests, stomachs, and heads. -
**Improving techniques:** You may research and develop new ways to perform tests when needed, especially for emergencies. -
**Equipment checks:** Daily, you will check and calibrate machines according to instructions. You need to identify problems or errors and report them to the right personnel. -
**Handling equipment issues:
** If machines break down, you will notify the required personnel and record the issues in a logbook. -
**Watching for patient reactions:
** Monitor patients for any signs of problems, especially related to any contrast media used, and alert the doctor if necessary. Be prepared to take emergency measures if a patient’s condition worsens.
**Work Schedule:** - You will work Monday to Saturday, with shifts lasting 8 hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, depending on clinic needs.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** You must have graduated from a program that is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). -
**Experience:** You need to have at least one year of full-time experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist in the last two years. Experience with digital imaging is required. -
**Licensure:** You must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). -
**Life Support Certifications:** You need to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. -
**Security:** You must be able to pass a government background check and get a security clearance from the government.
