**Job Description:
Registered Dietitian**
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for creating and providing nutrition programs. They work closely with a team of healthcare professionals. The Dietitian helps participants by assessing their nutritional needs and giving them advice. They also connect with food and supplement providers, create meal plans, and make sure all kitchen rules are followed.
**Main Job Duties:**
- Carry out nutrition assessments to understand what participants need and want, and join team meetings to help create care plans.
- Provide and record nutrition care based on doctor’s orders or agreed plans, which includes handling special diets and giving nutrition advice to participants and their families.
- Oversee meal planning and delivery to ensure safety and that participants receive the correct diets.
- Manage the nutrition team by hiring, training, and mentoring staff. - Assist with the enrollment process to help potential participants join smoothly and quickly.
**Job Requirements:**
- Must be a Registered Dietitian with at least four years of experience in a similar job.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid Certification is required.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills are important, especially while working with seniors and their families. - At least one year of experience working with elderly or frail individuals.
