**Core Duties:**
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a diverse array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the attainment of optimal outcomes concerning clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to established standards of care and practice in compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines utilized within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Conduct physical examinations and gather health histories.
- Provide health promotion, counseling, and educational services.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and implement various personalized interventions.
- Direct and supervise the care provided by other healthcare professionals.
- Assume responsibility for assigning patient care tasks based on the scope of practice and skill levels of the assigned personnel.
- Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and respond promptly in emergency situations.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals to update the healthcare team on plans and actions and to provide teaching and education that benefits patients, their families, and the organization. - Schedule referral appointments and organize specialty care as needed.
- Deliver nursing services as identified in the Task Order (TO).
- Engage in research to support improvements in practice and enhance patient outcomes.
**Work Schedule:**
Services shall be provided from Sunday to Saturday for a total of 13 hours, inclusive of a one
-hour meal break.
The operational hours are as follows:
- Day shifts: Between 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM
- Evening shifts: Between 10:00 AM and 10:30 PM
- Night shifts: Between 6:00 PM and 6:30 AM
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education**: An Associate's Degree in Nursing from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or as otherwise specified in the Task Order (TO). -
**Experience**: A minimum of one year of Emergency Room experience within the past two years. -
**License**: An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. -
**Board Certification**: Not applicable. -
**Life Support Certifications**: Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. (ACLS and PALS certifications may be obtained within six months of employment.) -
**Security**: Candidates must successfully pass a government background check and obtain government security clearance.
