The role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

**Patient Care Coordination:**
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize clinical outcomes, focusing on quality assurance and cost-effectiveness. -
**Compliance Monitoring:** Ensure adherence to established standards of care, practices, and operational guidelines within the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

**Clinical Assessments:** Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed health histories from patients.
- **Health Promotion and Education:
** Provide targeted health promotion strategies, counseling, and education tailored to patient and family needs.
- **Clinical Interventions:** Administer medications, perform wound care, and deliver personalized interventions within the nursing scope of practice.

**Oversight and Staffing:** Direct and supervise nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members. Make informed patient care assignments based on personnel qualifications and competencies.

**Emergency Response:** Recognize critical signs and symptoms, responding swiftly to emergent situations in accordance with best practice protocols.

**Interprofessional Communication:** Engage collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals to communicate care plans, educate teams, and enhance patient experiences and organizational effectiveness.

**Referral Management:** Coordinate and facilitate referral appointments and specialty care as clinically warranted.

**Nursing Services Execution:** Deliver nursing services as specified in the Task Order (TO).

**Research Participation:** Engage in research activities aimed at refining clinical practices and improving patient outcomes.
**Work Schedule:** - Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts scheduled between 06:30 and 17:30, including a one-hour lunch break. No weekend or holiday commitments.
**Minimum Qualifications:** -
**Education:** At minimum, an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree. -
**Experience:** A minimum of one year of registered nursing experience in a comparable clinical setting. - **Licensure and Certification:
** Active and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). -
**Security Clearance:
** Must have the ability to successfully pass a government background check for security clearance.
