**Job Responsibilities**
1. **Patient Care Coordination**: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize clinical outcomes, focusing on quality and cost-effectiveness in care delivery.
2. **Compliance Oversight**: Ensure adherence to established standards of care and practice aligned with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines applicable within the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
3. **Clinical Assessments**: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and detailed health histories to inform patient care plans.
4. **Health Promotion and Education**: Provide targeted health promotions, counseling, and educational interventions to enhance patient understanding and engagement in their care.
5. **Clinical Interventions**: Administer medications, perform wound care, and implement personalized treatment interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
6. **Supervision and Direction**: Oversee and mentor other healthcare personnel in delivering patient care, ensuring appropriateness of assignments based on their scope of practice and competencies.
7. **Emergency Response**: Recognize and evaluate adverse clinical signs and symptoms, promptly responding to emergency situations as they arise.
8. **Interprofessional Communication**: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among diverse healthcare team members to convey care plans and educate patients and families.
9. **Referral Management**: Coordinate specialty care and make referral appointments as clinically indicated, streamlining patient access to necessary services.
10. **Nursing Services Execution**: Execute nursing services as delineated in the Task Order, adhering to evidence-based practices.
11. **Research Engagement**: Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing practice and improving patient outcomes.
12. **Monitoring and Interpretation**: Utilize fetal and uterine monitoring equipment, including doptone and non-stress tests, to assess fetal well-being.
13. **Prenatal Counseling**: Engage in routine prenatal care discussions, focusing on breastfeeding support, contraceptive options, and essential pregnancy precautions.
14. **Tracking and Follow-Up**: Participate in the pap/dysplasia tracking process, ensuring diligent follow-up on laboratory results and maintaining communication with patients via phone and written correspondence.
**Work Schedule** - Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7 AM and 7 PM, with no weekend or holiday obligations, and no on-call responsibilities.
**Minimum Qualifications**

**Education**: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (ACEN or CCNE) or a state-accredited professional nursing program. -
**Experience**: At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in outpatient obstetrics and gynecology or inpatient labor and delivery within the last three years. -
**Licensure**: Active, unrestricted RN license from any state. -
**Life Support Certification**: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) and certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring and Interpretation. -
**Security Clearance**: Ability to pass a government background check/security clearance.
