**Job Details and Tasks:**
The duties of a Health Care Worker (HCW) include, but are not limited to:
- Helping train new staff members.
- Using computer programs like Microsoft Office 365, MS Outlook (for email), and browsing the internet.
- Attending meetings and committees as needed. Sharing important information to help these groups make decisions and improve services. Taking part in initiatives to provide better customer service and ensure medical readiness.
- Keeping a safe work environment and promoting safe work habits to protect both workers and patients. This includes following rules from health agencies and infection control policies.
- Working with different healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve the best health results while being cost-effective.
- Following standards of care and practices according to all policies and guidelines used in the medical facility. - Performing physical exams and taking health histories.
- Providing health education, counseling, and support.
- Administering medications, caring for wounds, and providing other personal care.
- Supervising care provided by other healthcare workers.
- Making sure patient care assignments match the skills and qualifications of the assigned staff.
- Recognizing emergency signs and acting quickly in such situations.
- Communicating and working with a variety of people to keep the healthcare team informed and to educate patients and their families.
- Making appointments for patients and arranging for specialist care when needed.
- Doing nursing tasks as specified in job training. - Conducting research to improve practices and patient outcomes.
**Work Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
- No weekends or holidays.
- No on-call duties.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:**
Must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing from a college accredited by recognized nursing education agencies. - **Experience:** Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical patient care setting. - **Licensure:** Must have a current RN license from any state. -
**Life Support Certification:*
* Must have current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. -
**Security:** Must be able to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance.
