The Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services leads and manages important areas such as the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Pre/Post Unit, Non-Invasive Radiology, Cardiology Clinics, and Cardiac Rehab departments. 

This person makes sure that patients can get the heart services they need on time and helps improve the quality of care they receive. They also build strong relationships with doctors, staff, patients, and the community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Create and follow plans for Cardiovascular Services that support the organization's goals.

- Provide leadership to managers and staff, promoting teamwork focused on patient care and high performance. - Ensure patients have timely access to heart diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation services.

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Pre/Post Unit, Cardiology Clinics, and Cardiac Rehab.

- Implement processes that provide safe, high-quality care while managing costs.

- Use personnel, equipment, and budgets effectively.

- Ensure all services meet safety and quality standards.

- Lead efforts to improve patient care and experience, including patient satisfaction surveys.

- Comply with laws and regulations from relevant agencies.

- Build trusting relationships with cardiologists, healthcare providers, nurses, and other partners.

- Encourage teamwork to meet goals across all areas of cardiovascular care.

- Support the growth and development of nursing and clinical staff.

- Provide ongoing training for staff to improve their skills in heart care.

- Work with finance and management to create and manage department budgets.

- Monitor finances to find ways to save costs and increase revenue, and create plans for new programs and technologies.

- Ensure the financial health and growth of the service line.

- Promote care that focuses on patients and their families, ensuring a good and respectful experience.

- Address patient concerns and complaints quickly and effectively.

- Follow safety protocols and procedures since this job is sensitive to safety.

**Qualifications:**

- A Bachelor of Science degree is needed; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or similar degree is preferred, along with a current RN license in Arkansas.

- Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

- Proven experience in leadership within cardiovascular services or a similar healthcare area is required.

- Good organizational, communication, and people skills.

- Ability to lead and engage a diverse healthcare team.

- Preferred certifications include Certified Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (CVRN), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), AACVPR certification, or healthcare executive credentials (ACHE/FACHE).
