**Patient Population: 

Newborn to Older Adult**

Provide nursing care for patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. Use your knowledge of how people grow and develop at different ages to tailor your nursing care. Follow the nursing philosophy, aims, care standards, and practices.

 

**Skills Needed:**

- Must be comfortable working with IV drips and breathing machines.

- Strong communication and people skills are important.

- Ability to handle stressful situations quickly and effectively.

In Emergency Medical Services, teamwork is very important. The emergency department staff and rescue teams must trust and rely on each other. Everyone works together: from first responders and ambulance crews to paramedics and emergency room staff, up to trauma surgeons.

 

**Qualifications:**

- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency department (more experience is preferred).

- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.

- Experience using EPIC software is required.

- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

- The traveler must have their own vehicle for this job.

 

**Certification Requirements:**

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

- BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

 

**State License Requirements:**

- New Hampshire - Compact licenses are allowed.

**Additional License Information:**

- You must have a New Hampshire RN license or a compact license ready when you apply. The facility will not wait for your license to be processed.
