The Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for mothers and their babies during childbirth. This nurse works independently, following hospital rules and guidelines to ensure safe and effective care. You will be part of a friendly team with experienced OB/GYN doctors and pediatricians. Your job will be to assess (check), plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate care using established nursing methods.
**Qualifications Needed:**
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery (OB/L&D) is required.
- You must be a graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Experience in monitoring fetal heart rates is preferred.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is required.
- AWHONN certification is preferred.
- STABLE certification (for caring for newborns) is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- You must have a current RN license in New Hampshire.
**Certification Requirements:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP
- STABLE
**License Requirements:**
- You need a license to practice in New Hampshire.
- If you hold a compact license, it is allowed.
- Your NH license must be active when you submit your application!
